Kumar Madurai earned an M.S. in Industrial Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration and is pursuing a Ph.D. in the Industrial Engineering Department at UB. Kumar has over 30 years of IT experience applying technology to solve complex business problems. As a Director of Technology and Enterprise Architecture at Fisher-Price/Mattel, he was responsible for its strategic planning of technology and infrastructure, leading technical architecture teams, as well as designing, developing, and implementing corporate business application systems. Currently he is a Principal Consultant at CTG, where he leads several projects for life science and healthcare clients. Several solutions he has developed and implemented employ ontology-based inference engines driven by the latest developments in semantic technologies providing powerful analytical capabilities beyond traditional means.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
