Ontology Class 2009
The National Center for Ontological Research, National Center for Biomedical Ontology and the http://ontology.buffalo.edu/smith/ University at Buffalo Department of Philosophy] are sponsoring a two-day ontology training event to be held in Buffalo, NY on October 10-11, 2000. All sessions will consist of highly interactive discussions introduced by Barry Smith. The course is designed to be of interest to both philosophers and those with a background in computer and information science. No prior knowledge of ontology is presupposed.

This course will serve as part of an upper-level undergraduate or introductory graduate course in the University at Buffalo (PHI 531). UB students can register by writing to Barry Smith.
