Improving the Electronic Health Record

The 20th meeting of the Clinical and Translational Science Ontology Working Group will take place in Charleston on 23-24 February 2023. This meeting will be oriented around strategies for improving the Electronic Health Record. Proposals for presentations on any topic relevant to the mission of the CTSOWG are welcome, but specific focus areas for this meeting will include:

What are the potential areas for improvement in current EHRs and EHR technology?

Improving the EHR with ontologies

Improving the EHR with AI

The functions of the EHR and other healthcare documents

We invite also contributions related to the general aims of the Working Group focusing on

Social Determinants of Health

Mental health
