Erik is a world authority in the field of multidimensional information systems and a well-known innovator in ontologically-grounded approaches to AI software technologies and in their socio-economic-environmental applications. His tier One Clients include Intel, IBM, Oracle, AC Nielsen, and several branches of the U.S. DoD. He co-founded Power Thinking Tools, the first software company to develop cell-level dependency tracking for multidimensional databases. As aggregation specialist at the World Bank, he developed the environment model for the first Earth Summit and the human well-being model for their 50th anniversary celebration. As distinguished scientist at Hyperion Solutions, he designed their first heterogeneous data integration engine.
