Short biography
Leonard F Jacuzzo earned his Ph.D. at the University of Buffalo in 2005. He then worked on ontology projects as Research Assistant Professor at the University at Buffalo and as a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the National Center for Biomedical Ontology under the direction of Barry Smith. After contracting with the US Air Force as Senior Ontologist with Windmill International, Leonard joined Computer Task Group, where he applied his experience and unique perspective to development of practically motivated ontologies and rule-based systems for clients of CTG. He also teaches philosophy at SUNY Fredonia.
